Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing and Naya Kanga Peak Climbing Permit Preparation

Today is dedicated to preparing your climbing permit for Naya Kanga Peak and exploring Kathmandu Valley. For the permit, you’ll need your passport, three passport-size photos, and proof of travel insurance.

Your sightseeing tour will start with Pashupatinath, a revered Hindu temple. Next, you’ll visit Bouddhanath, a significant Buddhist temple, followed by Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) and Kathmandu Durbar Square. If needed, you can also complete any final purchases for the trek before returning to your hotel.
