  • Note: As of April 1, 2023, all regular flights to Lukla Airport in the Everest Region are redirected from Kathmandu to Manthali Airport (Ramechhap) until further notice.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1400m)

Upon arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport, our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Thamel by private vehicle. You can rest or visit our office to review the detailed trek arrangements. Overnight stay at a 3-star hotel in Thamel.

Day 2: Free Day in Kathmandu and Preparation for Trek and Climbing

After breakfast, meet with your trek leader/guide for a briefing on the trek. Bring your passport, three passport-sized photos, and a copy of your travel insurance. Use your free time to explore Kathmandu or finalize any last-minute shopping.

Day 3: Flight from Kathmandu (1400m) to Lukla (2800m) then Trek to Phakding (2652m)

Fly to Lukla in the morning (about 40 minutes). Breakfast will be provided in Lukla, after which the guide will organize baggage for porters. Trek from Lukla to Phakding, a 3 to 4-hour hike through Sherpa villages. Explore Phakding village upon arrival.

Day 4: Trek from Phakding (2652m) to Namche Bazaar (3440m)

Cross five suspension bridges over the Dudh Kosi River and register at the National Park office in Monjo. Continue to Namche Bazaar, the Khumbu region’s main hub.

Day 5: Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar (3440m)

Day 6: Trek from Namche Bazaar (3440m) to Thame (3800m)

Leave the traditional Everest Base Camp route and trek to Thame, an ancient Sherpa village. Visit the Thame Gompa, a Buddhist monastery situated above the village.

Day 7: Trek from Thame (3800m) to Marlung (4137m)
